No virtual experience compares to an in-person visit to Mundos de Mestizaje, the buon fresco housed on the campus of the National Hispanic Cultural Center (NHCC). Given the tenuous nature of in-person education during this time, the History and Literary Arts program has created K-12 Social Studies and Language Arts lessons that can be completed either virtually or in person.

For the most effective educational experience, begin lessons and activities with a virtual tour of the fresco and continue to periodically familiarize students with the whole fresco throughout the learning process, in addition to studying individual images.
